Outdoor conditions can change fast. This course teaches you how to spot heat and smoke hazards and what to do if you or a coworker starts showing symptoms. You’ll also learn the safety steps Kitsap Transit takes and what each of us—employees and supervisors—can do to stay safe. (Frequency: Annual)
This course applies to:
- Managers and/or Supervisors overseeing employees with outdoor heat and wildfire smoke exposure
- Employees identified as having outdoor heat exposure
Duration: 30-40 minutes
This training is designed to help you keep yourself and those around you safe from exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Specifically, it covers the basics of bloodborne pathogens, how to protect yourself, and what to do in the event of an exposure, including the decontamination process.
